Welcome back, everyone. Today, I'm doing a favorites of the moment theme video. This is not a favorite of the month. I can't commit to that because I don't know about you guys but my favorites just don't change all that frequently. Dare I say, some of these products are favorites of all time. Be sure to hang around until the end of this video because I'm running an awesome giveaway. Well, obviously I think it's awesome because I made it but fingers cross you guys love it too. Let us start with some color. I purchased this product for the same reason I think everyone did because Lisa Eldridge wore it on a video and it looked incredible. This is the Yves Saint Lauren Rouge Volupte in 19 Fuchsia in Rage. When you open the tube, you're accosted with this violent purple shade but on the lips – I'm wearing it today – it translates to a vibrant fuchsia with a bluey purpling. Lisa covered it really well in her video. The stand out aspect of this lipstick is the formula. It applies exactly like a lip balm and it has a translucent quality but with no effort at all, you can achieve a really opaque color. The shade suits every skin tone. It wears beautifully, never patchy. The shade sort of mellows throughout the day and leaves a really beautiful stain, but mostly, the color. Lisa, she's the envy of my world.

My next favorite and I go way back, this is Rouge Bunny Rouge Chestnut Napped Apalis eye shadow. And I use this on a bunch of tutorials. It is perhaps my most used eye shadow. It's a matte, chestnut shade which is neither cool nor warm. It's perfectly neutral and if you are pale, you can use this to create some depth but for medium skin tones and deeper skin tones, it is the perfect transition shade that I've found for the crease. And it just takes the guesswork out of blending. In fact, the whole Rouge Bunny Rouge matte eye shadow collection is to die for. They're buttery, creamy, pigmented, not at all comparable to Inglot matte – I'm sorry, Lisa – in an entire league of their own. So if you're looking for matte eye shadows you can't go pass Rouge Bunny Rouge. They're the best by far.

My next two favorites are from the same brand, Geisha Ink mascara and Geisha Ink liquid liner. This is more of a niche brand. They don't have a huge range but what they do they do well. The mascara is a fiber and tubing mascara. So it attaches hair like fibers to your lashes to give a little volume and a lot of length. And the tuby aspect means that it's long wearing but it's also super simple to remove. You just wet your fingers, play with your eyelashes and the mascara falls off. Picture say a thousand words so here is a comparison.

Geisha Ink mascara on your right and bay lashes on the left, lots of volume, lots of length, it is my favorite mascara to date. Geisha Ink liquid liner. I have to credit this product for helping me master winged eyeliner because I'm not sure that I ever would have got there without this product. It has a very fine paintbrush tip. This is not a felt tip so it won't dry out mid wing because that drives me up the wall. It's perfect for really precise graphic liner. It creates the thinnest of lines. It's black on the first wipe. It doesn't smudge. The only con that I can perceive is that if you're going for a really think cat eyeliner, then you're going to have to build the product up but you can't have it all, ladies and gentlemen.

My next favorite has received a lot of hype. Some people see the magic, some don't. I definitely see the light. Guerlain Meteorites pearls, this is not a setting powder and is not a highlighter. So what the heck is it? It's a finishing powder. So the very last step of your base make up. I own a few shades. This one is tint beige which I imagine would suit most skin tones but let's be real. It's not a case of collect them all here because they almost look identical on the skin. It's so subtle that you probably wouldn't notice it unless you stepped out in to full sunlight. I'm going to try to explain the effect. A soft dousing of this powder imparts the skin with a soft and jelly glow. It sort of blows imperfections and catches the light in a way that makes skin look I want to say expensive. Actually, that is the perfect description. This is expensive skin in a tint. It also smells [inhales, exhales].

My final favorite is a highlighter, Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight. Now this is not Mary-Lou Manizer and it's not NARS albatross. I like to call this highlighter for grownups because it's a very sophisticated glow and never a frosty mess. It's a very fine powder that's not yellow gold, not is it pink. It's the perfect beige pearl that suits all skin tones. I've applied this to medium skins, pale skins, deep skins, you name it, and it works. This tends to elicit compliments like, “You have great skin” or “What wonderful cheekbones you have,” but little do they know Kevyn Aucoin at work.

It's giveaway time! Drum roll. One lucky subscriber is going to win all the products that I mentioned today in my favorites of the moment. And let's go through that again. Yves Saint Laurent lipstick in 19 Fuchsia in Rage, Rouge Bunny Rouge Chestnut Napped Apalis eyeshadow, and yours is coming in the little pot, Geisha Ink mascara and liquid liner, Guerlain Meteorites in tint beige and finally, Kevyn Aucoin Celestial Powder in Candlelight.
