A striking winged eyeliner look that really transforms the shape of the eye! Inspired by 60’s makeup trends, with graphic lines and luscious lashes. I give lots of tips for achieving a cut crease on different eye shapes (hooded eyes, heavy eyelids and deep set eyes).

This is a great tutorial if you want to refine your skillz, make sure you tag me @shamelessfripperies if you recreate it! I really like how it turn out, I think it’s pretty boss 😉

  1. Woooooooooow <3 I am so into this look. Also your brows are looking gooooorgeous. Fluffy and luscious πŸ™‚ Can't wait to try this one out for my next party!

  2. After marathoning Mad Men, I’ve been wanting to try out a 60s mod makeup look and you just made it that much more achievable! Great tutorial as always!

  3. Such a gorgeous look! I just picked up the Marc Jacobs contour palette, and you’re right the texture is dreamy! I love your brows! I like wearing my brows as naturally as possible so I enjoy seeing someone else do the same! Fantastic tutorial!

  4. Super boss, love this! πŸ™‚ I’ve had medical tape on my list forevah, need to finally pick some up to straighten out my liner. I love your reviews most, but maybe other historically inspired makeup looks?

  5. Hi Karima. I hope you don’t mind me throwing a few suggestions for videos at you! I really value your opinion when it comes to makeup and skin care. I would definitely say you are very close to Lisa Eldridge in that regard.

  6. i can’t believe it’s taken me so long to discover your vlog. you are just lovely. your eye liner/brows are spot on. totally subscribing…can’t wait to see more tutorials.
i’m ordering the surratt brow pomade right now!

  7. I would LOVE to see you do a purple smokey eye. It took forever for brands to come up with good quality purple shadows, and now they’re so easy to find. Plus, it’s my favorite color πŸ™‚

    1. The profile is much thicker and it has a bit of give, I wouldn’t use it for a crisp eyeliner but if you’re smudging a pencil into a wing or softening a gel liner (like I did in this tutorial), it’s fantastic.

  8. Karima! I love your channel and always look forward to your post. I was wondering, if you had to choose between the Marc Jacobs contour palette or Kevyn Aucoin which one would you purchase? I am thinking of buying a contour palette but having troubles deciding! ~ Ana xx

    1. If I had to pick between the two, I would go the Kevyn Aucoin, simply because the shade is ashier and better suited for contouring. If you prefer a warmer contour, then the Marc Jacobs powder would be up your alley.

  9. I hit Like on Youtube so hard, wind rushed through my bedroom. No makeup look has made me so breathless in recent memory, haha. This looks absolutely stunning on you! My first thought was: “OH YES TRYING THIS!” My second thought was: “HUHU I’M GOING TO FAIL!” I’m going to have loads of fun practicing, though. Thank you!

  10. Karima you’re such a cutieee, I love love love your personality and beauty! And your tutorials
