Battle of the drugstore foundations! Watch me try the L’Oreal PRO MATTE and PRO GLOW Foundations and see which holds up better after 9 hours! Let me know in the comments what foundation you’d like featured next 🙂

Jewellery I’m wearing is from our new #SHARIMA collection, doing a video about it soon (woohoo!) but for now, check out our pieces here..

Info about the foundations

You can buy the Pro Matte here if you are in the US and here if you are in Australia 🙂 Pro Glow can be bought here if you are in the US.

So I double checked the ingredients lists and indeed the Infallible Pro Matte in the US is the same formula as the Inflallible 24 Hour Matte in AU/UK. The Pro Glow has a different ingredient list to the regular Infallible 24 Hour in AUS, so I guess Pro Glow is not available down under 🙁

Pro Glow in 205 is about an NC30 (maybe a hair darker) and leans warm. Infallible 24 Hour Matte in 24 appears to be an Australian shade, it is a shade darker than the Pro Glow 205 and VERY, very warm. I attempted to compensate for this by graduating the colour on my jawline and failed miserably, so if you see a white patch on my jaw, you know the sitch 😉

Watch my last foundation first impressions, Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation!

Nail polish I’m wearing in this tutorial

Blue eyeliner is Rimmel Magnif’Eyes Double Ended Shadow & Liner in ‘Dark Side of Blue’.

  1. Thank you Karima for another great Video I can hear you this time did you do something with the volume? I know it is the same Video but this time I can hear you loud and clear.

  2. Hi!
This is very helpful, I think I’ll stick with the dewy finish though 🙂
I always find your reviews useful – so far nothing I got on your recommendation has ever disappointed me in the slightest, so I thought you might be able to help me with this question as well. Recently I’ve come to a conclusion that while I am an eyeshadow magpie, I very rarely actually use my palettes – I’m more of a sheer wash of color/transition shade in the crease if I’m really feelin’ it/smokey eye if I feel adventurous kind of gal…so I’ve decided to get rid of all of my palettes and start from scratch.
I’ve noticed that the majority of my shadows were way too cool-toned/neutral to do anything for my light olive undertone face. What I’m after is a simple warm palette (not necessarily a lot of shades, even a quad would suffice) that would enable me to get the 3 types of look I’ve described above. I’m more of a matte/satin finish person if that helps – do you have any recommendations? I was eyeing up Stila’s “Mind” palette, ZOEVA’s ‘Cocoa Blend’ (although I’d find that one overwhelming) or one of the Melt Stacks (Rust/Dark Matter)?
