  1. This is absolutely amazing. I’ve always wondered how to deal with flaky skin along with raised areas in one day! That Chanel brush is ideal. Debating on whether to dish out the money for two primers… Do you ever wear sunscreen below everything?

  2. Big fan of Neosporin here, it’s what I apply on the first night after a blemish appears. In my experience it’s very helpful in de-escalating the situation. Never tried applying under makeup though, thanks for the tip. Your concealing techniques are very helpful, I appreciate that you covered how to deal with all types of blemish challenges (as I’ve come to expect the very thorough Karima, my most trusted beauty blogger, would).

  3. Hi Karima. I love your tutorials. I find that your aesthetic is similar to mine. It’s quite hard to fine a YouTube makeup artist who doesn’t go OTT. Could you do a tutorial on the look Olivia Palermo was wearing in her shots for Bauble Bar? It looks perfect for autumn.

  4. Another great video, as usual Karima! Is Luminous Silk 4 equivalent colour in Lasting Silk a 4.5 or 5.5 or in between, hence your mixing?

  5. hey karima! did you buy the neosporin in australia and, if so, where? i haven’t ever seen it. thank you! also – AMAZING tutorial, full of such useful tips. really grateful xx

  6. Hello! Thank you for the very helpful post. I think you look beautiful. If it’s not too bold to ask, may you tell what made your skin freak out? I can recall you saying that the MV organic skincare balanced and cleared up your skin, have you stopped using it? Do you think it was a particular product that made your skin break out? Or just hormones, stress perhaps? I think I have a very similar skintype to yours and haven’t found a way to clear it up yet. Your anwser could be very helpful, If you will take the time. Thank you in advance.

    1. Hey Didi,

I suspect that the freak out was due to food allergies – I’ve developed a TONNE in the past few years πŸ™ Sunday Riley Good Genes Treatment has been very helpful for me in clearing any congestion.
